In-Flight Entertainment

Welcome to Air India.

To my surprise, each seat has a personal TV/entertainment system. The movie choices are a bit lacking: The Night at the Museum 2, Bride Wars and Dr. Dolittle (plus several Indian selections). There is also a "Classics" section featuring An Affair to Remember, The Poseidon Adventure and The Jewel of the Nile.

The TV options aren't much better: In addition to several Indian selections, there are Two and a Half Men, Rules of Engagement, Like Family and Just Shoot Me. Just shoot me indeed. It's curious that there are two David Spade shows in there. Is he big in India? I guess it's possible. Good thing I brought my own entertainment.

There is USB port which I can use to charge my iPhone and Blackberry. I will say that's pretty sweet (and better than I expected).

Also, turns out the flight is only 14 hours not 16. That's way better.
